This is one of my tasks during my Amsterdam internship, nice learnings about managing different affiliate programs. Julia, my roomie and co-intern, is my partner in crime. Besides Newfreshnice I, right now, design a website together with the CD and idea generate around the other briefs that is on our table right now.

I needed to get my act together and start to learn the basics regarding websites. The coincidence that my mother needed a site for a “just for fun”-furniture project, exhibited at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, was the right push for me.

This is my first website, it was put together pretty quickly since I had school to prioritize. It is an on going “try, fail and learn”-site with focus on learning more about SEO and SEM whenever I have some spare minutes to kill

A digital Obsession - Why is it that the Internet seems to have such big impact on our Lives? Read more hear

I study eCom and behavior online. I Also spend most of my spare and school time online.

Online I try to stay updated with interests and trends of my area. I Also use the web to access to that Ben and Jerry Cookie dough recipe and (try) to stay connect with old friends on the other side of the globe.

Yes, i am kind of a digital addict.

It partly scares me. I feel empty, especially when having more incisive web-periods then usual. I spend more time online then offline. Its not so much: “I am, what I am” but more “I am, what I share”.

Feels like we are less “Analog-Human beings” then ” Multi-Life Digital Creatures”.

I see people spending more time in networks then with friends or family in real life. For most people, to “Not being available per cell phone” feels like missing a precious limb of their own body. Including me.

Now I ask you, how come that the impact of the technological development in connection to businesses, organizations and people has made such a big impact in our lives?

I would love to hear your opinion on why it is that most Humans and Companies thrive in the World Wide Web?

I believe it will be a question of social standing when it comes to being exposed/handle vast amount of information, such as today.

I believe people in a near future are prepared to pay, in a totally different scale then today, to be able to just focus on what’s important in their life.

What do you think?

by the way, I officially suck at this (tumblr, what else..). How do you like other people stuff?? Can’t for my life figure it out, though I spend as much as 4min on the tricky question.. any super brains out there that wants to help me out? really proves to me that my brains are in need of sleep, straight to bed..

So, going from Christmas stress and New Year’s dress-panik (don’t understand why I deliberately go down the same path every year) to being wrapped up in The Year End Project, internship searching and general what-to-do-with-my-life(?!)-thoughts even BEFORE school has started I find myself in my blacknwithe striped sofa, at Kungsholmen, trying to figure this blog-thing out… First up:

Getting in pace! Old and on going projects have to get up there, so I finally can use this blog the way I planed on using it.. to keep track on how I work and learn from it. Realized it will take some time!

Have had an episode of Sons of Anarchy putting me in sleeping mode so no more work for today anyway.
